About the Album: Mind over Matter is the upcoming second studio album by American alt-rock band Young the Giant. The band is coming off a particularly active hot streak. They recently had their song “Cough Syrup” featured on Glee. They also had great success with their single “My Body.” Two smash singles from a debut record is a hard act to follow. That much attention puts a lot of pressure on the follow up album, out January 21^st. The group has spoken out about actively trying to ignore that pressure and just make good music influenced by their lives, loves, and literature. Sounds good to us!
