James Dooley ft. Celldweller – “Rise from the Underworld” // The Flash Trailer

This song from James Dooley ft Celldweller is absolutely perfect for the spine tingling trailer for the spin off from Arrow. We cannot wait for the new series, which drops on October 7th, and focuses upon wunderkind Barry Allen, who is struck by lightning and uses the resulting gift of speed to fight crime and solve the secret of the murder of his mother. In the meantime, check out the awesome trailer and accompanying music below:

Clooney – “Sorry” // The Vampire Diaries trailer

Check out the music for the trailer of the new season of The Vampire Diaries, which starts on October 2nd. This rather apt song includes the lyrics “sorry that I love you”, which plays as we find out that Elena has developed a drug addiction to some kind of new substance that allows her to hallucinate Damon. We don’t know about the drug, but we are totally hooked on the show and can’t wait to see it again!

Death From Above 1979 – “Trainwreck 1979” // The Arrow trailer

This high octane track from Death From Above 1979 accompanies the trailer which features Oliver multitasking between a high speed chase and finally putting the moves on Felicity, which we’ve been anticipating for two full seasons now. To say we are excited is an understatement … but what’s going to happen when Sara gets wind of all this?! Check out the trailer below!

Raphael Lake and Ben Fisher “Do you Feel Alive” // Reign trailer

This song, in the vein of Nickelback or Imagine Dragons before it, provides a power ballad backdrop for the trailer for the second season of Reign. We can’t wait to see what Mary gets up to as the new ruler of France, especially as the plague runs rife throughout the land. The new season starts on October 2nd, and it’s fair to say that we may not be leaving the house much at all that week! Check out the reason why we’re so excited:

OneRepublic – “I Lived” // Red Band Society

This is the emotional track that’s playing as Leo sits at Jordi’s bedside as their love triangle situation with Emma finally comes to a head.  It’s particularly poignant as the band just released a video about cystic fibrosis in conjunction with the song, which you can check out below on Vevo.  OneRepublic were an early example of the model of Myspace success, although there was some lagtime between them forming in 2002 and them hitting the bigtime with their single “Apologise” in 2007.  Anyway, we’re big fans of the soft acoustic rock nature of the track and think you will be too.  Let us know your thoughts!
