With Tommy’s (Colin Donnell) death at the end of Season 1, Arrow became just a shade darker than most comic book stories, as Oliver uncovers more secrets regarding his ordeal on the island and what his mother knows… Find out more on the Seson 2 premiere, Wednesday Oct. 9th on The CW.
Back in the Game
Set for Wednesday nights on ABC this fall, this new sitcom takes a look at the world of sports through a woman’s (Psych’s Maggie Lawson) eyes: a former college softball player, to be exact, who left it all behind to raise her son (Private Practice’s Griffin Gluck).
Modern Family
Some changes are in order for the crew at Modern Family, set to resume with their 5th season on Wednesdays on ABC. In addition to a new writer (SNL scribe Emily Spivey), the series will premiere a new opening, mainly to show how the cast has evolved and grown up over the past four years–most notably the now-teen actors who started on the series as little tots. Aw!
Nashville
After an explosive musical close to Season 1, fans cannot wait to find out what’s in store for Season 2, particularly for Gunnar and Scarlett and that magnificent proposal. We’re almost there–tune in Wednesday, Sept 25 on ABC to find out Scarlett’s answer!
Revolution
The imaginative and enthralling first season of this bleak sci-fi series came to a brilliant close, with Rachel being as kick-ass as ever and some enticing reveals surrounding the Dark Tower. What’s in store for Season 2? Show creators already revealed (spoiler alert!) some outright nuclear explosions right at the top. For more, watch on Wednesdays on NBC.
South Park
With a shorter season in store for the Comedy Central classic’s 17th outing (10 episodes instead of the usual 14), one thing is for sure: Kenny will still meet a tragic fate sooner or later.
Survivor
Can you believe Survivor is up to its 27th season? Again taking place in the Philippines, the new season will feature returning survivors competing against their family members and loved ones. Set for CBS Wednesdays.
The Tomorrow People
In the tradition of Heroes, The CW’s new Wednesday night sci-fi opus will follow people who discover special new powers as the result of human evolution. Based on the British series of the same name, the show stars Peyton List of FlashForward and Mad Men, and Revenge’s Robbie Amell.
X-Factor
After much shuffling following Britney Spears’ very publicized exit from Simon Cowell’s reality competition show, it was finally confirmed that former Destiny’s Child Kelly Rowland will be sitting in a judge’s seat, along with Mexican songstress Paulina Rubio, for the show’s third season. Slated to return are Demi Lovato and (of course) Cowell. Watch on FOX Wednesdays!
