Summer isn’t traditionally as exciting as fall for TV but we’re more than excited for the midseason / summer premiere of some of our favorite shows that are favoring an early return. Check out our rundown here!
Pretty Little Liars
We’ve already talked about our most anticipated moments from the new PLL trailer, but we’re on the edge of our seats waiting for the Season 5 June premiere of our favorite show. Some of our long awaited questions will finally be answered, but we’re most concerned with what’s going to happen to Ezra right out the gate. Regardless, the season is sure to bring more twists, turns and surprises than ever before.
Chasing Life
We’re all for a good adaptation and Chasing Life is on the top of our most-anticipated list. Based on the hit show Terminales by Miguel Angel Fox, the sure-to-be hit is set to premiere on ABC Family 6/10. We can’t wait to see how the workplace/family drama centered around a feisty newspaper reporter plays out.
Young & Hungry
ABC Family is consistently delivering new programming and setting the bar higher than ever before. That’s why we have exceptionally high expectations for Young and Hungry, one of the early producing efforts of our fave, Ashley Tisdale. Young and Hungry explores the world of tech entrepreneurs and navigating early career-dom, both of which are topics ripe for discussion
Teen Wolf
The end of June cannot come soon enough! Teen Wolf ended with it’s most dramatic finale ever, and we’re not sure where the series is going to go from here upon it’s return the last week of June. We’ll be mourning Allison and eagerly awaiting to see what happens with Danny and Aunt Kate!
Switched at Birth
The second part of SAB third’s season returns at the end of June. We love when seasons split into two, it only heightens our anticipation to see what happens with newbie couple Bay and Tank. We also wouldn’t be too surprised to see a “Beemmett” reunion…but all to play out come the end of June!
The Fosters
Shows really seem to hit their stride in the second season – they’ve worked out all the uneven first season bumps and the characters come into their own. That’s why we can’t wait for the second season premiere of The Fosters on 6/16. The family stakes are higher than ever with members deciding whether or not to actively stay a member of the Foster family. Will they stay or will they go? Only time will tell.
