Faking It Season 2 Hair Change

There are many things to love about MTV’s Faking It. The series takes a refreshing look at modern teens and their sexual identities, without being too whiny or self-serious. While all of this is great, we need not ignore another key factor that makes Faking It such an entertaining program: eye candy. Let’s be real. Whatever you’re into, Faking It has got you covered. Faking It features some of the best hair stylists in the biz, including Kim M. Ferry (Pretty Little Liars), Robert Hallowell II (The X-Factor), and Matthew Holman (The Voice). Let’s take a look at the fabulous hairstyles of Hester High, and how they’ve changed from Season 1 to Season 2.

Rita Volk as Amy

In Season 1, we mostly saw Amy with her long, blonde hair let down and flying free, peppered with droopy, lazy curls. In Season 2, she still lets it flow, but her hair has become almost totally straight, with just a teeny bit of waviness.

Katie Stevens as Karma

Much like Amy in Season 1, Karma’s red-brown hair usually flows free with similar lazy curls, but with a little more volume than Amy. Also, Karma rocks a crown braid on the regular. Karma’s hair has changed the least from Season 1 to Season 2. This season, Karma’s hair seems to be even more voluminous, with slightly thicker curls, and braids galore.

Bailey De Young as Lauren

In Season 1, Lauren generally let her blinding blonde hair hang straight and free. In Season 2, we’re seeing a little bit more wave in her hair, as well as some cute braids, just like fellow cast mate Katie Stevens.

Michael Willet as Shane

The girls of Faking It aren’t the only ones rocking a new ‘do this season. In Season 1, man about campus Shane had his hair kept a little bit on the longer side, piled high, while still keeping it looking fresh and neat. In Season 2, we see that Shane has clipped his hair into a much shorter, tighter cut with a little flip in front.

Gregg Sulkin as Liam

In Season 1, Liam’s hair sat high like a pseudo ‘50s greaser look, which did not suit him well. In Season 2, Liam’s hair is shorter on the sides and messier on top, which works so much better with his face.
