National Treasure: Edge of History – Two-Episode Premier – 12/14

Have you ever watched the National Treasure movies from way back when? Whether you’re a fan of nostalgia for older movies or a newer fan who’s yearning for an adventure story, Disney+ is happy to present the show, National Treasure: Edge of History, as a two-episode premiere on December 14th! The story follows a young Jess Valenzuela as she’s been offered a clue to an old treasure that may be connected to her deceased father. With the help of her friends, Jess must find a way to beat a black market dealer to find the treasure, while also unearthing the truth about her family. This show is a must-watch, so keep an eye out for any news revolving around it!

Super Junior “The Road: Celebration” – 12/15

Are there any K-pop fans here? If so, I hope you’re ready for Super Junior’s “The Road: Celebration” album release that’s coming out on December 15th in the U.S.! Super Junior is making their comeback with a festive theme and there are two, different versions of their albums, TREE and SNOW versions. Which one are you going to get? Are you going to get both? Beauty and the Beast: A 30th Celebration – 12/15

Dear Mademoiselles, Monsieurs, and everyone else: Disney+ beckons you to join them as they celebrate their 30th anniversary of Beauty and the Beast, a timeless classic that was nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards back in the day! This animated, live-action special will pay homage to the story with a whole new bundle of musical performances, so if you’re interested to see what lies beneath this special show, keep an eye on the show’s release date!

NiziU “Blue Moon” Album – 12/14

Here’s another K-Pop band under this list, but J-Pop fans will love this group too! NiziU is releasing its album, “Blue Moon” on December 14th of this year! The band released the single “Blue Moon” back in November of this year, but their album will be released this winter. This Japanese-Korean girl group has fans anticipating the album’s release, and if you’re curious about this band, listen to their other songs.

If These Walls Could Sing – 12/16

Here’s a movie that will surely blow you away with its rich, pop cultural history. This documentary shows the ins and outs of Abbey Road Studios, a studio that is considered to be the heart of the music industry. Disney+ has documentary filmmaker Mary McCartney show viewers what lies beneath the decades of music, heart, and soul that was made in that studio. If that doesn’t pique your interest, then perhaps the interviews of leading artists, composers, and staff of Abbey Road Studios might. If you’re interested to see what makes this studio so magical, watch this movie!

A Million to One by Adiba Jaigirdar – 12/13

Alright, this is a bit of a doozy. You have an artist, a thief, an actress, and an acrobat getting ready to steal a prized item from the RMS Titanic: the Rubaiyat, a jewel-encrusted book. The premise sounds pretty simple, right? Well, no, it’s the exact opposite. This heist won’t be as simple as these young ladies seem to think. This historical-fiction, LGBT+ book will come out on December 13th, so if you want to know what will happen on this heist, read the book to find out!

Gudetama: An Eggcellent Adventure Season 1 – 12/13

Are you a fan of eggs? Are you a fan of animation in a live-action setting? You’ve most likely seen this creature lazing around on the internet, but if you haven’t, meet Gudetama—the laziest egg in existence. Gudetama: An Eggcellent Adventure stars this certain character, who reluctantly sets out on a journey to help find the mother of Shakipiyo, a newly hatched chick. If you’re interested to see how their journey will go, this Netflix series will air on December 13th of this year.

Rise of the Coven by E.E. Holmes – 12/13

The eighth book of the Gateway Trackers series is coming out on December 13th! From where we had last left off, Jess and Hannah Ballard had returned the Gateways’ power to where it was originating from. However, a new threat looms over the group, and now they must find a way to solve this mystery that plagues the spirit world. We implore you to read the series, the books written by E.E. Holmes are really good, and the mix of comedy, intrigue, and romance makes the books a fun read.

The Owl House Season 3, First Episode – 12/14

Welcome back to the world of Owl House for its newest season! After what had transpired back in the finale of Season 2, Luz and her friends must try to find a way to return to the Boiling Isles. Unfortunately, returning to the Boiling Isles will be a struggle, especially with the different challenges heading their way. Keep your calendars marked for the start of Season 3 on December 14th!

Evil Hears by Sandra Woffington – 12/17

The sequel to Evil Speaks is coming out on December 17th in Barnes and Nobles! The warriors return from their journey from Tartarus, where they had not only attained the books of prophecy but also prevented the opening of the first Dark Gate. Unfortunately, a member of their group was left behind, and Kami must choose to either escape or rescue her mother. The protagonists of this series are an interesting bunch, and the dangers around this book leave you on the edge of your seats. If you haven’t yet, read the Warriors and Watchers Saga.
