Madison Skye Validum is an up and coming actor starring in two separate Christmas movies this holiday season. She plays Charlotte Garrick in the movie Dashing Through the Snow on Disney+ and Beatrix Jennings in Best. Christmas. Ever! on Netflix. In this exclusive interview with Young Entertainment, Madison tells us about what it’s like to be on a big movie set, her favorite Christmas traditions, some of her famous co-stars and much more! With both films currently streaming, we have tried to avoid any potential spoilers.

“I am so excited to have two Christmas movies back to back, that is just really cool to me.”
Dashing Through the Snow follows Eddie Garrick, played by Ludacris, who has turned his back on Christmas due to a traumatic childhood experience. But when he takes his 9-year old daughter, played by Madison, to work with him on Christmas eve, they meet a mysterious man in a red suit named Nick and are taken on a magical adventure. Madison said it was an incredible experience to work with Ludacris who was very laid back and funny on set. She also confirmed that a big theme of the movie is never letting the past affect you in the present, advice she likes to apply in her own daily life.
“Ludacris is amazing, he’s one of the greatest people I’ve met. He is so amazing and has a great personality.”
Best. Christmas. Ever! is a comedy that follows two longtime frenemies, played by Heather Graham and Brandy Norwood, after a twist of fate reunites them over the holidays. Madison said that Heather, Brandy and Jason Biggs were all super nice to her during the filming and their biggest advice was for her to stay humble and keep listening to her mum.
In addition to her two holiday specials, Madison also recently starred in the Netflix film Ivy + Bean. After a busy past year, Madison said she is currently doing more auditions and is staying ready for the next project that comes her way.
Towards the end of the interview Madison confirmed that Christmas is indeed her favorite holiday and told us that some of her favorite traditions during this time include watching movies and eating with her family. Plus making two Christmas specials gave her the chance to stay in the Christmas spirit all year round.
