There is so much good TV out there right now on so many different streaming platforms, and Mordechai and Daniella dove into what they are currently watching. Season 5 of You is out now on Netflix and Mordechai raved about the new Prime Video show Overcompensating, which stars Benito Skinner, Wally Baram, and more.
Mordechai: “We’re excited for [season 5 of You] and the drama that is television.”
Daniella also revealed she is starting Gilmore Girls for the first time, which has us all in our nostalgic feels. Time for a rewatch! Our TV conversation also got us thinking about all the writers behind the scenes creating these hit shows, and it was definitely our sign to invite a writer on the podcast sometime soon.
CinemaCon recently took place in Las Vegas, where all movies coming out in the next year were announced. The Wicked: For Good trailer was revealed and we cannot wait for all the Disney films like Freakier Friday, Lilo & Stitch and Avatar: Fire and Ash.
Mordechai: “The Wicked: For Good trailer sounds incredible.”
This episode was all about our favorite shows, and Mordechai and Daniella got to talking about how iconic Pretty Little Liars was. We miss the time when shows premiered live and everyone live tweeted at the same time. Daniella pitched her million dollar idea to bring this back, Netflix we’re waiting!
Daniella: “[Live tweeting] would bring this whole community aspect to Netflix.”
