Marvel Studios debuts Loki series trailer

The god of mischief is back again in the new series Loki. A new trailer was just released for Thor’s mischievous brother, and there is a lot happening. The series is not set to premiere until June 11th on Disney+. But this trailer is sure to help with the anticipation.

The synopsis for the show reads, “Marvel Studios’ Loki features the God of Mischief as he steps out of his brother’s shadow in a new series that takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame.”

It is confirmed in this new trailer that Loki is in fact taken by the Time Variance Authority (TVA). We are able to see a lot of interaction between Loki and Owen Wilson’s character, Mobius M. Mobius, who seems to be in charge of the Time Variance Authority. In the trailer we hear Mobius tell Loki that when he picked up the Tesseract he broke reality, and that he wants him to help them fix it using his “unique Loki perspective”. In the rest of the trailer we see that Loki may be traveling through different times and worlds. This is in order to restore the timeline in which he broke. It also seems as though the show will have a good amount of humor. Especially as we hear quite a bit of it throughout the trailer.

Loki stars Tom Hiddleston as he returns as the title character, he is joined by Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant. The show is directed by Kate Herron and has Michael Waldron as the head writer.

We are so excited to see what kind of time traveling trouble Loki gets into episode by episode during the series.

Make sure to watch Loki as he travels through time when the show premieres on Disney+ June 11th!
