If you’ve ever watched or listened to the podcast, you know we are Disney fanatics. Mordechai revealed his thoughts on the new live action Snow White, which stars Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen. We have even more behind-the-scenes details on the film, having interviewed Emilia Faucher who starred as a young Snow White in the movie.
Daniella: “It is so cool to hear about it from a first hand experience of what it’s like on set.”
Emilia talked all about working with Gal Gadot, who she said was super kind, and Rachel Zegler. While Rachel and Emilia didn’t film on the same days, Emilia remarked that they both have very similar facial expressions, which made it the perfect casting!
Mordechai also recently returned from San Francisco where he visited The Walt Disney Family Museum, which takes you through Walt Disney’s early days to the creation of Mickey Mouse and the Disney parks.
Mordechai: “One thing I was really impressed by was the Walt Disney Museum… It’s the best museum ever.”

Speaking of Disney, can you believe the original High School Musical was released in 2006?! Daniella and Mordechai agreed that Zac Efron represents the “seven degrees of separation” in pop culture, meaning he’s connected to everyone in entertainment. We brainstormed who could potentially play the iconic characters if the film was remade today. Chase Stokes or Timothée Chalamet as Troy Bolton? Lola Tung as Gabriella? Renee Rapp as Sharpay? Tell us your dream casting!
Mordechai: “Drew Seeley sang for Zac Efron in the first High School Musical.”

Consider this:
- Casting directors are tasked with selecting actors or performers for various roles and act as a liaison between the producer and director and the actor and their agent. The best way to get noticed by a casting director is to attend their workshops where you can get feedback and get on their radar.
- The faster you submit an audition tape, the better. Casting directors are more likely to view your tape if you’re one of the first submissions.
